WOW!

I am so sorry that it's been awhile since I've written. School has been really busy the last 2 weeks!

All of my classes are going really good. Here are the classes I'm taking:

MWF:
Bible (Mike Cope) 10am
English (Erin Voss) 1pm

TTH:
U-100 (George Pendergrass) 8:30am
Psychology (Dr. Richard Beck Jr) 9:30 am
Communication (Dena Counts) 1:30pm

I LOVE my U-100, but I think that Psychology is my favorite. Dr. Beck just has such an amazing way of making everything coming alive! He is an EXCELLENT communicator in his field and I am SO glad to have him as one of my professors!!

I had my first quiz in Bible yesterday and it was really easy, so I'm feeling a little more confident about the class. I guess I'm not really worried about any of my classes, but it was more the fear of the unknown since I had been homeschooled my whole life. But the adjustment wasn't near as hard as I thought it would be.

I had my first visit to the doctor yesterday and that wasn't any fun. I have an upper respitory infection, slight tonsilitus, and something else! Yuck! The doctor gave me a shot in my hip (which hurt like the dickins!) and gave me a perscription that I have to take for the next 10 days. He told me to stay inside as much as I can, drink LOTS of water, and have a little chicken soup :) So, after my appt. yesterday, I stayed in my room for the rest of the day which was kind of annoying, but VERY relaxing.

Now, some of you guys may have heard about this incident already, but I just wanted to share it with you guys real quick so you can be praying for the school. Our Student Body President, D.P.W. (who is African American), walked into his office Wednesday afternoon, and found a noose sitting on his chair. He was shaken and called someone to come look at it. The school has opened an investigation to find out who is responsible. They announced all of this to the student body during chapel yesterday and there was local and national news present. Please just pray that the Lord would give peace to D.P. and that no hate crimes or anythintg of that nature will happen in the future. I think that the school has handled this all very well and I have been extremely impressed with them!

Okay, well, I must go now!
I hope you all have a great weekend!
